I bought this Mavica in 2026 after having used my other one for a couple years and wanting a new set of shiny keys to play with. I was starting to get a bit over the limited settings and resolution, but still wanted something older and fun to shoot with. The FD91 offers boosted resolution capability, video recording with sound, SteadyShot, options for both manual and automatic focusing, 14x Optical Zoom, White Balance adjustment and other nifty tricks. I enjoy the Color LCD viewfinder instead of trying to see a dim old LCD screen in broad daylight, makes for better daytime shooting. It's a bit of a bulky bastard, not having the form factor to slip underneath a coat like the 73, and being a bit heavy and awkward to hold. The increased resolution makes images look cleaner and sharper while still giving that old digital camera look that i love. Maybe i paid a bit too much for it, but it was complete in box.
