Decided to take a drive up to canadialand, honestly one of the most beautiful rides i've ever done. they got some weird stuff up there, all the candy and snacks and shit are different, there's french everywhere and i have to second guess my speedo because km/h doesn't much compute for me. i hung out in a safeway, a sports shop, a shitty gas station, and a canadian tire. i spent a bit of time just trying to figure out where the fuck i can get some canadiabuxx but it appears nobody in Fort Frances exchanges cash. if you use your ATM card it works fine though so ig just get cash when you cross. I made it a bit past Sioux Narrows before deciding to cancel my original idea of camping overnight. i didn't know you needed a permit to stay at the public park in SN lmao. in hindsight i should've gone to kenora, but i can save that for another time. very shortly after i got home from this, multiple wildfires struck canada. the week after had me and many others getting suffocated by smoke around the clock.
