just what you wanted, music opinions from a guy who doesn't know shit about music. possibly the most useless information you will ever read.
How i usually do things is i pick out an artist, pick 3 or 4 albums depending on length, and then listen to them all and see which one i like the most.
my guy aqua put me on this band and i gotta say wow this is some really good music! i'm a guy who's down with some super spacey ass vibeatronic music that's good for chilling out for a while and feelin calm. doing my best to describe it i'd say it's pretty dream like i guess, not to go TOTAL JUNKIE PIECE OF SHIT MODE but it reminded me of how things felt doing mushrooms in nature, sumn about it rings in the soul. i definitely enjoyed the campfire headphase, right to children and TCH the most but they're all great.
Favorite Songs: Pete Standing Alone, Olson, Over The Horizon Radar, Satellite Anthem Icarus, Sixtyten, Aquarius, Skyliner, Alpha and Omega, Corsair, In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country.
Well, These 3 albums were pretty good. I think that my personal favorite was Graduation, followed by The College Dropout, and lastly late registration cuz tbh i didnt like it very much. I'd say if you haven't given those first 2 a listen, you probably should. I thought they were some great albums with catchy songs. Pretty dope lyrics n beats and all that shit, idfk i'm not a raphead.
Favorite songs: Jesus Walks, School Spirit, Stronger, I Wonder, Can't Tell Me Nothing, Flashing Lights, Everything I Am.
That kanye fellow sure seems to have a good head on his shoulders, i doubt he'd ever do anything rash or irresponsible.
Man these guys have some jammin tunes. I had a really great time bumpin all of these, i'd give them all a shot but my ranking stands as Oh No! It's DEVO, then Q: Are We Not Men?, which ties with Duty Now for the Future, then at last is Freedom of Choice. Not to say it was bad, just not the best out of this lineup. Oh No has some serious bangers front to back with only a couple duds in the list. I had a lot of good times with Q:AWNM? too but there are a couple that didn't jive with me. I'd say if you're looking for something to jam out to you should definitely put on one of these albums. Theres a 100% chance you've already head whip it at some point in your life so you already know a little bit of what they sound like.
Favorite Songs: Time Out for Fun, Speed Racer, Explosions, I Desire, Come Back Jonee, Mongoloid, Wiggly World, Blockhead.
Quite a lot of bangers in this marathon! I really enjoy how the band has this really heavy ass sound but can also make some silly shit too. I very much enjoyed the sound of the vocalist, i think he does a great job on every one of these songs. If i was to rank these albums i'd sort them out in this order: First is Steal this Album!, then System of a Down, then at last is Toxicity. I loved all of them about equally, but i think it was STA that just barely beat out the rest of the other albums. Idk how to describe the actual music itself but i can tell you that it goes really hard and is a great fun time to listen through.
Favorite Songs: like all of them lol
